The Lamborghini Countach was unveiled to the public at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show. The Countach was among the first supercars to sport an angled, wedge-shaped body, which became the signature style of subsequent Lamborghinis.

The AEC Routemaster was presented to the public for the first time in 1954. Compared with the previous bus types the Routemaster, with its integral chassis and bodywork design, was considered to be a real innovation. The double-decker, which was mass produced from 1958, was in particular characterised by the open boarding platform on the rear left allowing quick hop on and off . At the end of the 1950s a change in regulations allowed in addition the operation of over thirty-foot long buses on only two axles. Some Routemasters were subsequently divided in the middle and a central bay inserted in the middle recognisable by square windows. The new bus type, the Routemaster Lengthened, in short RML, now had room for a total of 72 passengers. The resounding success with 15 test vehicles persuaded London Transport to order a further 500 of the RMLs, which were produced from 1965 to 1968. In the 1970s more and more RMLs were in service in central London.

Mustangs were some of the most popular cars Ford produced. Early models raked in sales figures that rivaled the Model A. By the mid-eighties, however, the line was losing ground to stiff competition. For streets, canals, houses or bridges, everywhere that is built up, great piles of sand, gravel, stone or asphalt will often be needed. These so-called bulk goods will be transported by lorries with special bodies. Names such as three-way tipper, rear tipper or dump truck are the best known in these parts. In the USA a dump truck or dumper is also a tipper, but which only tips out or empties the transported materials at the back. Most of the dumpers are made of aluminium and, how could it be otherwise in the land of unlimited possibilities, naturally they are attractively painted or all in chrome. As far construction vehicles of this kind are concerned in the USA one finds innumerable types of design and construction.

A common sight on today's roadways, the wrecker, or tow truck, has been helping stranded motorists since 1916. One such wrecker, the W900, was introduced in the mid-1980s and offers such features as three-stage crane jib, functional rear stabilizers and rotatable inches.

Breakdowns do happen, and when they happen to the biggest semis you can expect to see the Kenworth W-900 getting it back to the shop. Although called "Conventional", this truck is anything but. It has been in production for over fifty years and comes equipped with a powerful diesel engine ranging in size from 9 liters to up to 16 liters for hauling the truly massive movers. Kit features a detailed, turbocharged diesel engine, telescoping wrecker crane, opening front engine cover, and tons of detail.

Released for four seasons in the seventies, the Starsky and Hutch series took the cop drama genre and ran with it. The show featured drug use, shoot outs, and lots and lots of car chases featuring the signature bright red "striped tomato" Ford Torino owned by Starsky. Any criminal would know from a mile away who was driving up in the bright red Torino, but a 351 c.i. engine with dual carbs let the partners catch up. The EC135 P2 has been in production at Eurocopter since 2002. It is regarded as the most cost-effective and quietest helicopter in its class. In 2011, the Franco-German Company delivered its 1000th EC135 to the ADAC. A Weapons System Officer supports the pilot during missionsin the two-seat fighter-bomber role. This system is already being practised in the RAF and trained for in the German Air Force.

WTD 61 operates out of the airfield at Ingolstadt-Manching where it has a fleet of fully instrumented flying test aircraft as well as measuring equipment and test rigs. The range of tasks undertaken by WTD 61 covers the entire spectrum of military aviation technology throughout all phases of development and includes the use of ordnance. With the introduction of the F-4F weapon system into the German Air Force in 1974, the former test site E 61 in Manching initially received two of these aircraft for test flying to gather performance data and to expand the range of conventional armaments in the air-to-ground role. With the ramping up of the Combat Improved F-4F at the end of the 80s, the F-4F with the tactical markings 38+13 was transferred from the then JaBoG 36 at Rheine as prototype test-bed to Manching. The very last flight of a German F-4F was undertaken at Manching airbase by 38+13 on 30.07.2013 with 4801 total flight hours in this uniquely successful custom livery with Lt. Col. Ritter and Lt. Col. Geisse as the crew.

The Spitfire is probably the most legendary aircraft of the Second World War. It was built in countless variations continuously until well after the end of the Second World War. Over 22,500 were built. The 12 cylinder Merlin engine with initially 1,175 bhp designed specifically for the Spitfire was so outstanding, that it was also built under license in the USA. The RAF had already introduced the Spitfire Mk I into their Fighter Wings before the beginning of the Second World War. They proved their capability in the Battle of Britain. The first Spitfire Mk II left the factory in Castle Bromwich as early as August 1940. It was now fitted with a 3-blade propeller as standard and received additional armour for the pilot. A total of 990 Mk II Spitfires were built. In addition to its role as an interceptor, the Spitfire also saw service as a fighter bomber and photo-reconnaissance aircraft.

The Vought Corsair was one of the most unusual but also successful naval aircraft of World War 2. Feared by her Japanese opponents who nicknamed her the Whispering Death she fought her way across the Pacific sky's during 1943-1945, scoring record-braking successes: 2140 enemy aircraft destroyed against 189 own losses. The combined fire-power of the Corsair consisted of six 12.7 mm Browning machine guns. Her characteristic bent wing gave it a prominent recognition feature for Ground Forces which called her the Sweetheart of Okinawa . The F4U-1A was the first production lot with many modifications. Completed in 1911 the Gangut was the first battleship in the Imperial Russian Navy. A total of four Gangut class battleships had their keel laid and were completed in Saint Petersburg. The armour protection extended over most of the hull and also the relatively small superstructure. The two central turrets of the main armament could only be deployed laterally. The Gangut class battleships were intended for use on the Baltic Seas and were therefore specially fitted with an ice-breaker bow. The expensive battleships were rarely used during World War I in order not to jeopardize them.

The C-47 is one of the most legendary aircraft in the history of aviation. The DC-3 appeared in 1935 as a further development of the DC-2. The C-47 freighter version emerged later. During the Vietnam War specially rebuilt C-47's entered service as attack gunships from 1964 onwards. Now known as the AC-47D and nicknamed Puff the Magic Dragon these aircraft were used to deliver concentrated fire support for beleaguered outpost and camps. Within a very short period of time the AC-47D became one of the most feared weapons in the Vietnam War. Together the three mini-guns were capable of delivering a devastating 18,000 rounds per minute. There have been numerous reports about deployments of the AC-47D showing that hard fought over locations were relieved by continued aerial actions of the AC-47D. Codenamed Spooky the AC-47D remained in USAF service until 1969.
