Tamiya 1/48 Nakajima A6M2-N (Rufe)

The Type 2 floatplane fighter, otherwise known as the A6M2-N (Allied reporting name "Rufe"), was created to provide reconnaissance and defense for remote Japanese outposts such as the Aleutian Islands in WWII. It was essentially a normal A6M2 Zero which had its landing gear replaced with floats. This kit accurately depicts this unique aircraft and features plenty of engine and cockpit detail. The canopy may be assembled in either open or closed position and parts for the beaching trolley are also included. The kit also comes with two pilot figures and seven marking options.

In the latter half of World War II, the Wehrmacht, having lost air superiority to the Allies, rushed to develop anti-aircraft vehicles. One of these was the Mobelwagen, which was the first self-propelled anti-aircraft gun that utilized the Panzer IV chassis. The prototype, which was equipped with four 2cm Flak guns, was completed in December 1943 and the mass production version, which was equipped with a single, more effective 3.7cm Flak43 capable of firing 250 rounds per minute, was put in production in February 1944. The four large armor plates surrounding the superstructure of the vehicle could be lowered to 60° in anti-aircraft firing position and lowered completely to enable an unimpeded horizontal field of fire against ground targets. By March 1945, a total of 240 vehicles were produced, most of which were deployed to the Western front to defend against Allied fighter-bombers. Tamiya 1/48 Mitsubishi G4M1 Model 11 - Admiral Yamamoto Transport

This kit includes a detailed cockpit, dorsal gun position, and nose & tail blisters. New parts recreate the accurate tail blister, which had the outer section removed to enable a better field of fire for the 20mm cannon. Kit contains a total of 17 figures: 1 depicting Admiral Yamamoto, 1 observer, 2 pilots, 1 gunner, and 12 mechanics. The Tamiya model faithfully captures the history of its' last flight and the personnel on board.

Tamiya 1/48 Ilyushin IL-2 Shturmovik

The Ilyushin Il-2 was one of the most significant ground-attack aircraft of WWII. It incorporated a sturdy monocoque construction and excellent armor protection to make it perfect for ground attack operations. It was initially conceived as a two-seat design but due to weight issues it was re-designed as a lighter single-seat aircraft in 1940. This kit comes with 3 decal marking options and parts for 100kg and 250kg bombs are included.

Tamiya 1/48 Heinkel He219 Uhu

Powered by two Daimler-Benz DB603 engines, this aircraft with a long and slender fuselage displayed its combat-worthiness against allied bombers in nocturnal operations during the final period of the conflict. Although the total number of production was only 268 until the end of the war, the Heinkel He219 Uhu gained noteworthy results against allied airforces and was supposed to be the best among the Luftwaffe's reciprocating engined night-fighters. The He219 was also the world's first operational aircraft to be equipped with ejector seats.

Tamiya 1/48 Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat

The Grumman F4F Wildcat was the U.S. Navy's main fighter from the beginning to the mid stages of WWII and this kit depicts the F-4 variant. The tubby, robust shape of the aircraft has been accurately reproduced and features a combination of raised and engraved details throughout. One pilot figure and three marking options are included. Tamiya 1/48 Gloster Meteor F.3

The RAF's Gloster Meteor was the first and only operational Allied jet fighter to actually enter combat in WWII. In March 1943, a jet prototype designed by the Gloster company and equipped with a De Havilland H.1 engine made its first successful test flight. In July of 1944, pilots flying the first production version of the Meteor, the F.1 fighter, fought bravely in the Battle of Britain under the No. 616 Squadron.

This is a 1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit of the German Transport Vehicle Horch 1a. The functional Type 1a with large engine grille is artfully captured in open-top form. Tamiya 1/48 Focke-Wulf Fw190 F-89 - w/Bomb Loading Set

This 1/48 assembly kit allows you the choice of building either Fw190 F-8 or F-9 aircraft. In the latter half of WWII, the Luftwaffe Focke-Wulf Fw190 F series were the main aircraft used for air-to-ground assaults. The F-8, which entered the fray from the spring of 1944, was based on the A-8 aircraft and had the largest production numbers among the F series variants. The F-9 which had a superior engine output was also soon put into action.
