Nissan has made solid pickups since 1934, but it wasn’t until 1958 that they began selling them in American under the Datsun name. As soon as these trucks made their appearance they left an indelible mark on the American truck market. Their trucks were notably smaller, more efficient and less polluting than domestically produced units for little reduction in horsepower.
